Christensen Farms is a progressive, family owned swine business located throughout the Midwest and has been a leader in the food production industry for more than 25 years. We are currently seeking Nursery Service Managers for various locations throughout Iowa to oversee employee, producer and independent contract sites. Individuals will be responsible for the implementation of all processes and procedures, development and execution of action plans related to the care of the animals and provide training, direction and development to employees.

Duties: |
The Nursery Service Manager is responsible for monitoring costs and maintaining open communication with production teams while being held accountable for meeting company goals and expectations.
Additional Responsibilities include:
-Implementation of Standard Operating Procedures on nursery sites
-Provide coaching and direction to Pod Managers, IC's, and employees
-Holding Pod Managers accountable for supervision of the care, maintenance, and management of all sites
-Provide solutions, tools, feedback, information, and develop action plans in necessary areas
-Monitor expenses and cost control

Qualifications: |
College degree within an agriculture-based major or 1-3 years of swine production service management experience is required.
Qualified candidates must display a high level of responsibility, attention to detail, organizational skills, strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with others. Individuals must be able to manage time and priorities in a fast paced, changing environment.
