UI/Web Developer

Description:

Participate on a team of web and java developers to build a high-profile physician payment web site for a government agency.  Design web pages using industry compliant standards and guidelines adhering to International usability and accessibility standards.  Contribute to a team charged with delivering a project under high-pressure, tight time-frames.  Responsibilities to include:

• Author  Java and HTML application code
• Author Java script code
• Write unit tests
• Test and debug applications
• Participate in code review sessions
• Compile technical and usability documentation as needed

Required Skills

• Minimum of five (5) years Java Development experience developing Java based web applications.
• Experience using Eclipse IDE and tool kits
• Experience with Liferay or other portal products
• Knowledge of and experience with Java Server Faces, and Spring

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing healthcare related/clinical software applications
• Knowledge of ISO standards for web site accessibility

Education/Experience

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent training and a minimum of five (5) years of related experience including above specified experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
