Help Desk Technician I West Des Moines, IA This position is responsible for providing phone based support to end users in the medical community. The position requires the ability to listen, analyze, document, resolve and or escalate issues while providing excellent customer service skills. This is a fast paced, rapidly changing environment which requires continuous learning of the programs and products that we support. Job Summary · Shifts are 8 hours in length, and are available from 7am to 7pm CST, M-F. Initial hires usually are expected to work 10:30am to 7pm. Training hours are from 8am to 4:30pm · 80 - 90% phone support Required Skills/Abilities · Accurately type 35-40 WPM with the ability to also type while talking on the phone to callers. · Ability to independently identify, research and resolve complex issues. · 6 months of previous Help Desk/Call Center, or customer service experience required. Phone support experience preferred. · Excellent written and verbal skills. · Knowledge of Medical terminology is a plus. Education/Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); two (2) year degree or above preferred; and a minimum of six (6) months of previous Help Desk/Call Center or customer service experience. |
