Duties: |
| The Estimator will be responsible for, but not limited to, computing cost factors and preparing estimates used for purposes such as preparing bids, selecting vendors or subcontractors, and determining cost effectiveness. |
Qualifications: |
Candidate must possess experience in analyzing blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for projects and services. Also, experience in the Utility Industry and/or possessing estimating knowledge of transmission, distribution, and substation projects is required.
Must have excellent analytical, organizational, verbal, written and communication skills. The right candidate must be self-driven and have the ability to stay on-task for extended periods of time. Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Project is required. Also, a bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is required.
